Описание вакансии

We are looking for experienced Embedded Software Engineers to join our growing Israel-based teams in Tel Aviv and Haifa. Key job responsibilities - Design, develop, and optimize embedded software (firmware, device drivers, bare-metal and RTOS applications) for Annapurna Labs' next-generation custom hardware. - Work at the hardware-software boundary — bring up new silicon, develop low-level drivers, and enable high-performance data paths that serve millions of AWS customers. - Collaborate with hardware engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams to define system-level requirements and translate them into robust, production-quality code. - Drive technical decisions on architecture, performance tuning, and system design for latency-sensitive, high-throughput embedded platforms. - Continuously raise the bar on code quality, testing, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. A day in the life Why Annapurna Labs? - **Impact at Scale** — Your code will run on the infrastructure behind AWS, serving millions of customers worldwide. - **Cutting-Edge Technology** — Work on custom silicon (Graviton, Nitro, Inferentia, Trainium) at the intersection of hardware and software. - **Growth & Innovation** — Benefit from AWS's resources, mentorship programs, and opportunities to publish and present your work. - **Dynamic Culture** — A fast-paced, open, and collaborative engineering environment rooted in Amazon's Leadership Principles. - B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. - 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development. - Strong proficiency in **C** (and/or C++) with deep understanding of low-level systems programming. - Hands-on experience developing firmware, device drivers, or bare-metal / RTOS applications for embedded systems, including direct hardware interaction. - Solid understanding of computer architecture fundamentals (memory hierarchy, caches, interrupts, DMA, bus protocols). - Experience with HW/SW interfaces at both the board and chip level. - Knowledge of SoC development lifecycle — silicon bring-up, validation, and productization. - Experience with Linux kernel development (kernel modules, device drivers, subsystems). - Familiarity with networking protocols and data-path development (Ethernet, TCP/IP, RDMA, DPDK). - Exposure to hardware/software co-design, performance profiling, and optimization. - Experience with cloud infrastructure or large-scale distributed systems. - Track record of technical leadership, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring
