Data Engineer

Data Engineer BCB Group is a leading provider of regulated payment and trading services in crypto and fiat for the digital asset economy. They offer accounts, crypto and FX market liquidity accessible via Client Console UI and API and are authorised in the UK, France and Switzerland. Responsibilities: - Integrate multiple data sources into a cloud-based data warehouse and design/implement ETL processes. - Ensure data security and compliance within cloud environments. - Develop and maintain data models, dashboards and visualisations. - Automate business processes using no-code/low-code tools in partnership with business teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements, respond to data queries and deliver reports. - Prepare regulatory reports and implement data quality and governance standards. Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in a data-related field. - Advanced proficiency in SQL. - Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel. - Strong understanding of the ETL process and experience with data ingestion, transformation and dashboard creation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Nice to have: - Experience with dbt. - Experience with Looker or ThoughtSpot. - Experience with no-code/low-code tools (e.g., n8n). - Proficiency with version control (e.g., git). - Programming skills in Python, R, or TypeScript. - Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and experience in Payments/FinTech/Crypto.
